VitaMaxx Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 20, 2026
The short version: VitaMaxx has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. Your results and progress stay on your device. Food and water photos are sent securely to Cloudflare Workers AI only to generate an estimate. Cloudflare states that Workers AI customer content is not used to train AI models or improve Cloudflare or third-party services without explicit consent.
1. Information we handle
Food and water photos. When you actively scan a meal or water container, VitaMaxx redraws and resizes the image, which removes ordinary photo metadata, then transmits it securely to VitaMaxx's serverless Cloudflare Worker and Cloudflare Workers AI solely to estimate nutrient content or water volume. VitaMaxx does not send your name, email, account ID, device ID or advertising ID with the photo. A copy of a meal photo may be stored locally on your device so you can see your meal history.
Scan results and preferences. Nutrient estimates, water logs, goals, streaks and settings are stored on your device. The Cloudflare Worker does not save photos or results to a database, object store, log or other persistent storage.
What we do NOT collect: your name, email, contacts, location, health records, advertising identifiers, or any analytics that track you across apps.
2. How photos are processed
Photos are sent over encrypted connections to a serverless API operated by VitaMaxx on Cloudflare, then processed by Cloudflare Workers AI using the Llama 4 Scout vision model. The image is used to produce one response and is not written to persistent server storage by VitaMaxx.
Cloudflare identifies prompts, image submissions and outputs as customer content. Cloudflare states that it does not use Workers AI customer content to train models or improve Cloudflare or third-party services without explicit consent. VitaMaxx does not place customer content in Cloudflare storage products. Network providers necessarily receive technical connection data such as an IP address to deliver an internet request, but VitaMaxx does not store, profile, sell or use that information for advertising or tracking.
3. Your choices and control
- You can delete all app data at any time in You → Delete all my data. This removes every scan, locally saved photo, water log and preference from your device.
- Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
- Camera and photo library access are used only when you actively scan and can be managed in iOS Settings.
4. Children
VitaMaxx is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly process their data.
5. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will ship with the app and be posted at this address with a new effective date.
