VitaMaxx Terms of Use

1. What VitaMaxx is
VitaMaxx is a wellness app that uses AI to estimate the vitamin and mineral content of food from photos, for general informational and motivational purposes.
2. What VitaMaxx is not
VitaMaxx is not a medical device, and its estimates are not medical or dietary advice. Estimates are approximate and can be wrong — portion sizes, preparation and hidden ingredients all affect real nutrient content. Never use VitaMaxx to diagnose, treat or manage any health condition, deficiency or allergy. Always consult a qualified health professional about your nutrition, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or take medication.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use VitaMaxx only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes and not to reverse-engineer, abuse or disrupt the service.
4. Photo processing
When you choose to scan a photo, you authorize VitaMaxx and its service provider, Cloudflare, to process a resized copy solely to provide the requested food, nutrient or water estimate. Cloudflare states that Workers AI customer content is not used for AI model training without explicit consent. See the Privacy Policy for processing and deletion details.
5. Intellectual property
The app, its design and content are owned by the developer. You keep all rights to your own photos.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
VitaMaxx is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions made based on nutrient estimates.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
